The prestigious prize, awarded by the German Design Council, is one of the most internationally respected awards in the design world. Since its launch in 2012, the award has recognized outstanding design trends in fields such as product design, communication design, and architecture.

Etrusco was named "Winner" in the "Excellent Product Design – Passenger Vehicles" category. This award recognizes outstanding design achievements in vehicle design. Only products and projects nominated by the expert panels of the German Design Council are eligible to participate in the competition. The winners are selected in a multi-stage process, culminating in a two-day jury meeting.

The jury is comprised of renowned figures from business, academia, science, and the design industry, and represents international expertise and cultural diversity.
